Historic Wagyu Fes at Times Square: JAPAN Fes x Wagyu Fes Featuring Six Vendors from Across the USA
This year's JAPAN Fes presents a special event focusing on "Wagyu," Japanese beef known for its intense marbling and one of the most renowned ingredients in Japanese cuisine. Six Wagyu vendors from New York, Texas, Florida, and California, will participate to showcase the beauty of Wagyu to Japanese food enthusiasts in New York City. These vendors will offer a wide range of dishes that highlight the versatility of Wagyu, from authentic Japanese Wagyu bowls and skewers to fusion dishes like Wagyu burgers and sandwiches. The main stage will hold special performances such as Wagyu cutting demonstrations. This collaboration event is the first of its kind at JAPAN Fes and a unique opportunity to witness the charm of Wagyu. Check out the wide array of menu offerings here.
In addition to this celebration of Wagyu, JAPAN Fes is welcoming 3 businesses from Japan at its July 21st event. DEARBROS, a renowned soul food spot, will serve a japanese staple called “wagyu teriyaki omu-rice”. This popular dish involves softly scrambled eggs and a light hand to delicately place the omelet onto the rice along with wagyu beef. Sushi Towel is bringing luxurious towels made in Imabari, Japan- the city is Japan's largest towel producer and is known for its rich 120 year history. Imabari towels are known for their softness, water absorbency, and are popular as souvenirs. With unique sushi prints, you can share the love of Japanese cuisine in new ways. And PiZZA TRUCK RUBBER TRAMP will be arriving to show New Yorkers delicious pizzas with Japanese toppings that have been loved for over 30 years in Japan.
JAPAN Fes has recently celebrated 100 events since its inception and continues to grow bigger and better with the continued support of its unwavering community. Stay tuned for more updates to the rest of the year's scheduled dates.
